Based in Paris, sashaxsasha works at the intersection of collectible design, architecture, and contemporary art. Developed in 2023, the studio’s STEEL collection revisits historical forms and sacred interior typologies through a restrained contemporary language.
Etagère is one of the latest pieces in sashaxsasha’s STEEL collection. Crafted from brushed stainless steel, the bookshelf combines a lightweight visual appearance with a strong architectural structure. Inspired by the typology of the tower — a form deeply rooted in architectural history — the piece translates monumental architectural references into a functional object for contemporary interiors.
Designed to display books and personal objects, Etagère balances sculptural presence with everyday functionality. Its reflective surface and precise geometric proportions create a clean interaction with light and surrounding space, allowing the bookshelf to function both as storage and as an architectural focal point within an interior.
