A sculptural example of American Art Deco glass design from the 1930s, this vase reflects the period’s fascination with modern architecture and geometric form. Produced in amber pressed glass, the vessel rises from an octagonal foot into a faceted tapering body, terminating in a broad flared rim. The stepped silhouette and vertical ribbed elements evoke the profile of contemporary skyscrapers, a defining visual motif of the Art Deco era.
The warm amber tone enhances the architectural character of the piece, allowing light to animate its angular surfaces and moulded details.
