The removable lid, rendered in jet-black acrylic, rests weightlessly atop a sleek metal base – a study in contrasts between opaque darkness and reflective shine. The elongated rectangular form is punctuated at each end by gentle curved extensions, giving the piece a distinctive sculptural geometry.
