Designed in the 1980s for Flexform, this pair of “Scissor” armchairs distills Antonio Citterio’s design language into a single, precise gesture. The chromed metal X-frame reads like a line drawn in space, supporting a suspended leather sling that gently conforms to the body, balancing tension and ease. The interplay between reflective steel and supple leather gives the chairs a calm, modern presence that feels both precise and inviting.
Born in Meda in 1950, Citterio is celebrated for turning everyday furniture into quietly sophisticated, long-lasting objects.
