Gerhard Richter - Atlas - 2011

€150,00

Title: Gerhard Richter – Atlas
Publisher: Verlag der Buchhandlung Walther König
Year: 2011 (Expanded Edition)
Pages: Approx. 864
Format: Hardcover with dust jacket
Language: German / English
Condition: Light wear consistent with age

A dense and revealing document from one of the most important living artists. Atlas gathers together over 800 plates from Gerhard Richter’s vast image archive — a lifelong collection of photographs, sketches, cuttings and visual notes that underlie his entire oeuvre. Structured and conceptual, this book reflects Richter’s singular way of seeing: selecting, refining, withholding. Expanded and redesigned by the artist himself, this 2011 edition includes new plates from the War Cut series and his latest visual notes. A foundational sourcebook, at once intimate and monumental.

Cultural habits

Most ready-to-ship pieces leave our facility within 1–3 business days.

Delivery usually takes 3–7 days within the EU and 5–10 days to the US. Larger or freight shipments may take slightly longer.

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking details.

We take special care with packaging — especially for fragile and vintage items — and all orders are fully insured in transit.

International orders may be subject to duties, VAT, or customs fees, depending on your country’s regulations.

These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the item price or shipping cost. Carriers typically bill any import duties due at the time of delivery.

We always include the necessary documentation to ensure smooth customs clearance for international shipments.

If you have any questions about customs or need help navigating the import process, we're happy to assist.

We hope each piece from the Cultural Habits collection finds its place in your home.

If it doesn’t suit you, you may return it within 14 days of delivery.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We kindly ask you to arrange return shipping yourself.

We’ll provide a list of our recommended shipping partners in your country to help you choose the best option.

Most items are returnable, including our vintage pieces — normal age-related wear (as described on the product page) is considered part of their character.

The only exception applies to custom-made items, which may only be returned if they arrive damaged. These items are clearly marked on the product page.

Even oversized or heavy pieces may be returned, but please note that return shipping for such items can be costly.

We recommend reviewing dimensions carefully and contacting us with any questions before making a purchase.

Each piece in our collection is carefully selected for its authenticity, character, and provenance.

We offer detailed descriptions and accurate images so you can make an informed choice. Every item is packed securely and fully insured for delivery.

If something goes wrong in transit, we’ll handle it promptly and with care. And if you decide to return a piece, we’ll be here to guide you through every step of the process.
