Art Deco Articulated Desk Lamp by Pirouett, France, 1930s

€1.500,00

Art Deco articulated desk lamp by Pirouett, France, 1930s. French Art Deco lighting of the 1930s carried the geometry of the 1920s into objects made for more practical, intimate use. In a desk lamp, that language becomes quieter: polished metal defines the line, glass softens the beam, and adjustment becomes part of the object’s poise. Produced by Pirouett, the lamp brings movement into the form with a sense of precision and ease. The hinged head gives the piece a quiet sense of intention, so the direction of light reads as part of the design. Here, the chrome structure gives a clear vertical accent, while the glass-panelled shade catches and diffuses the light with a softer presence. The lamp brings together clarity, reflection and movement in a compact Art Deco composition designed for use, but shaped with decorative restraint.

Cultural Habits is a space for those who see objects not as possessions, but as silent carriers of meaning. Our curator's view is drawn to objects where aesthetic form meets cultural significance. When we see the balance of form and essence, we meet true beauty. An artifact is more than just an object. It is memory and thought embodied in an object. It is the ability of objects to tell stories — without words, through surface, weight, silence.

Most ready-to-ship pieces leave our facility within 3-5 business days.

Most items are returnable, including our vintage pieces — normal age-related wear (as described on the product page) is considered part of their character.

The only exception applies to custom-made items, which may only be returned if they arrive damaged. These items are clearly marked on the product page.

Even oversized or heavy pieces may be returned, but please note that return shipping for such items can be costly.

We recommend reviewing dimensions carefully and contacting us with any questions before making a purchase.

Each piece in our collection is carefully selected for its authenticity, character, and provenance.

We offer detailed descriptions and accurate images so you can make an informed choice. Every item is packed securely and fully insured for delivery.

If something goes wrong in transit, we’ll handle it promptly and with care. And if you decide to return a piece, we’ll be here to guide you through every step of the process.
